　フィールドゾーンに《Obsidim, the Ashened City》が存在する場合に手札から自身を特殊召喚する効果、召喚・特殊召喚に成功した場合に同名カード以外のAshenedをサーチする効果を持つ。

　(1)は自己特殊召喚効果。
　《Obsidim, the Ashened City》はフィールド魔法のサーチ手段に加え、複数の専用サポートカードを持つため用意するのは難しくない。
　相手のフィールドゾーンに存在しても構わず、《Awakening of Veidos》の後半のサーチ効果を適用するために自ら送りつける事もあるため覚えておきたい。

　(2)は召喚・特殊召喚した際のサーチ効果。
　同名カード以外のAshenedをサーチできるため、【Ashened】においては状況を問わず有用な効果である。
　(1)によって自己特殊召喚している場合にはモンスターをサーチすることで連鎖的に並べられる。
　ただし、最もサーチしたい《Awakening of Veidos》がサーチ対象外な点は注意。
