相手フィールドに置くこともでき、その場合後半のサーチを確実に適用できる。

- 《Hero of the Ashened City》の効果で《Veidos the Eruption Dragon of Extinction》を破壊し、《Obsidim, the Ashened City》を置く。

結果としてフィールドには２体のモンスターが並びAshened永続罠（現状《Ashened for Eternity》のみ）と《Obsidim, the Ashened City》が用意でき、エンドフェイズとはいえ１枚ドローも可能。
自分フィールドのモンスターも巻き込んでしまうものの、手順5.によってモンスターの全体除去を行うこともできる。
ただし、その後デッキ・エクストラデッキからの特殊召喚が炎族に限定されてしまう。
一応それ以外の場所からの特殊召喚は自由だが、エクストラデッキを縛られるのはやはり重く、上記手順を行っても残る２体を素材に展開できるモンスターは現状いない。
一応この盤面だけでも相手ターン《Ashened for Eternity》によって《Veidos the Eruption Dragon of Extinction》をサルベージし、特殊召喚した後《Veidos the Eruption Dragon of Extinction》で破壊することで全体除去という制圧は可能。
その他《Ashened for Eternity》によって《Veidos the Eruption Dragon of Extinction》のコントロールを奪えば、大きく相手モンスターの攻撃力を下げることもできる。
